The WETHJE-group (Wethje-Service GmbH, Wethje-Entwicklungs GmbH, Die Wethje GmbH Kunststofftechnik) is one of the leading Central European manufacturers of carbon composite components for the motor racing and premium segment. The company was founded by the brothers Reinhard and Reimer Wethje in 1979 and currently employs about 210 people at the plants in Hengersberg and Pleinting, Germany. Premium car manufacturers and several Formula 1 and touring car teams are among its customers.
September 2007, CROSS Industries AG took an interest of 74% in the WETHJE-group. Further 26% are being held by Mr. Reinhard Wethje.
